When I was second year college, we have this subject called Mechanical Engineering where we studied inside a room full of greasy, rusty, bulky equipments used in mechanical engineering (of course!) I am a CE student but I know that we have to be familiar with the those things but the way our professor taught us is different from what I expected.
During those times, we only made cut outs, drawing of different materials which I think is not a very good practice especially is we’re trying to familiarize ourselves with those things. Good thing that my dad has this storage room of all his equipment (because he used to be a welder) and I got the chance to know some of those. The different types of hammers, saw, clamps, nails etc. This are essential for carpentry works and it’s not that bad to get to know them.
