Birthday Wish: ULTIMATE

By on March 6, 2013

Last year, I made a collage of my Christmas wishlist and to my surprise, I got none of them. So basically, I just wasted my very little Photoshop skills into making that collage. If I only knew that I won’t be able to convince people with that style, I would have posted about those on my Facebook timeline instead.

But past is past. The effort is already exerted and somehow, I enjoyed making it. But I won’t fall into my own trap now.

Just an info, March is actually my birthday month and I will be celebrating my birthday 21 days from now. This post is published on March 6, 2013. In short, my birthday is on the 27th. Learning from my mistakes, I would simple write about my ultimate wish this year.

I miss this guy so much. I love him dearly and he is the man of my dreams. My friends know how much I adore him that’s why my only wish is to own this Lovechul Official Photobook from PetalsPH Shop on Facebook.

Lovechul Official Photobook * 200P ; with freebie Price: P2000 (c) PetalsPH Shop on Facebook

I was just scrolling through random FB posts when a red balloon popped up from the globe icon on my news feed. I clicked it and was directed to this lovely photobook. I can’t resist the “ALL ABOUT KIM HEECHUL” part. I just want to open it straight from the laptop monitor if only I can.

I love Heechul. I miss him. I want to see him. I want everything about him. If I could get this photobook on my birthday, I’d be the happiest and most sincere servant of whoever gives it to me. Hihi.

Please!! Guys. Please!!

What else was I missing?

By on September 12, 2012

Last time, I blogged about me discovering Metrodeal and its wonders and just as I still couldn’t believe that I discovered it late, another finding shocked me so much I had to blog about it too. 😀

It still involves Ate Lhyzie’s birthday celebration.

Mahj and I arrived there at around 8:30pm and we were quickly assisted by Kuya Jun as Ate Lhyzie picked up another visitor. We ate palabok and lumpia as the adults were teasing us to drink which we didn’t buy no matter how hard they try. We’re such good girls, you know. Haha!

Okay so, I was already full because I kept eating lumpia but the cakes on the other table were calling me and so I prepared my tummy for another round of digestion. Mahj, the sexy girl, was full as well but I took a large slice of cake for us to share. I intentionally took the side of the cake where the icings are abundant because I am such a sweet-lusting bitch. The chocolate topping couldn’t escape and I took it too. We ate happily and share chitchats while waiting for the birthday girl.

As I was dividing the chocolate with my plastic fork, I wondered why I was able to actually cut it in half. I already knew that the chocolate was hard and my fork wouldn’t be able to divide it but it did! I kept pushing the fork downwards to cut the chocolate fully and my discovery came in. It’s not chocolate but mallows! My whole life was a lie!!! Hahahaha~ But really, I haven’t seen any cake with mallows as its topping. Oh yes, call me shallow but yeah! I just got so surprised. Haha!

Suddenly, it’s July.

By on July 8, 2012

Valentine’s day just passed, I just celebrated my birthday, classes started just weeks ago. And then suddenly, we are more than halfway through the year of the water dragon and moving closer to the predicted end of the world. Whew! Time. Y U HAVE TO FLY SO FAST?

I remembered it’s July because I suddenly felt the urge to make Adam Young a simple birthday present which a fangirl who lives far from Adam knows best: a Photoshopped picture of Adam which  the “HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM YOUNG!” on it. It’s my mom birthday month as well and I hope I can give her something special this time especially that I have made so many mistakes and caused a lot of disappointments to her. Donna will be celebrating her 20th birthday the same as my mom and I already have a gift for her. Which just made me more eager to buy my mom a gift.

I don’t know but July somehow feels special for me. Maybe because the most special persons in my life were born in this month, hmm. By the way, would you help me find a gift for my mom? Pretty please! 🙂

Some stuff

By on May 13, 2012

My younger sister has been constantly receiving birthday invitations this month and it’s a big burden for our mother to think of what gift to give the celebrants since we lack the money right now. But still, thank God, mom is able to provide some stuff for the children whose birthday will be attended by my younger sis. I see some toys, both educational and entertaining.

One of the toys there that I saw is the yoyo. I guess it will be given to an older boy because kids cannot play with that yet. Especially if it is a dark magic yoyo. It takes a lot of practice, patience and strings to be able to work with that toy properly.

I am happy that you’re happy

By on May 8, 2012

In our life, there’s always this one person who never fails to put a smile on our faces. That someone who even though suffers his/her own problems, still finds time to cheer you up and give you a pat on the back as if saying, “You’re too beautiful to frown.” Somebody whose smile is so contagious you’ll catch yourself smiling just by seeing them. We call them our friends.

Returning the favor comes in different forms, as for me, I lack the material resources that’s why whenever I get the chance to give something to my very dear best friend, I make sure she’ll be happy. And so came one of the most special day for me and my bestfriend. I tried my hardest to save some cash and eventually ended up with a backpack bag which she had been eyeing on since the day we saw it at the mall.

It’s hard to make surprises when you’re always with the one you’re going to surprise so even before the day came, I already kissed my savings good-bye for I know that I will be facing so many expenditures along the process. And as I expected, performing the task is as hard as planning it.

I made a quota of lies during the days when we were going to meet and I was buying the gift. Thanks to my friend Glenn for accompanying me at the mall and bringing home the bag so as not to spoil the surprise. The gift wrapping department was composed of my OJT-mates headed by Clarence and the rest, money made possible.

When the DAY came, I went home bringing the large paper bag with the gift positioned it on the bed with the two babies guarding it and hurriedly went back to our meeting place. Dad almost spoiled the moment when he refused to allow me to go back but I insisted that the surprise will be wasted and so he just slept.

Little babies guarded the gift for Ate Bea 🙂

I went home with her as if nothing happened and purposely let her go up first. And there on the bed she saw a large black box with a violet ribbon and a small card that says, “Happy Birthday and Happy Graduation!” I won’t forget the smile in her face. She wanted the bag so bad but she didn’t expect that I’ll be the on to give her that. I just love the appreciation evident on her face. It made me feel fulfilled as if I am the one who got a present.

I love her and I will do all I can to make her happy. 🙂

A fail but touching surprise

By on April 23, 2012

Clarence or Ticle as I call her, just celebrated her 20th birthday last April 21 and though busy, I still managed to organized a surprise for her which I pledged to do since last year. 🙂

Usually, I coordinate with our two best friends, Chaneth and Rizza but I understand that they have other priorities so I talked to our college close friends instead. The original plan is just to buy a simple gift but we didn’t have enough to time to look for a Ticcle-friendly gift so we settled on a cake.

Luckily, there’s a cute cake store in SM Sta. Mesa and there we bought this simple cake for her.

Paired with skinny candles, this cake really looked cute when the candles are still standing tall. Haha! We surprise her by delivering it in front of there house as we sing the happy birthday song. Poor Ticcle only blushed as she knows that her sisters will tease her because of this.

At the end of the day, we still enjoyed and I understand why at first she seemed not to like it because we’re not really into cheesy things like this. 😀

A birthday gift for Dad

By on April 22, 2012

My dad has always been very busy from work which somehow affects how close we are in the family. I admit that I too lack the initiative to bond with him and I know that it’s not good so when I still I have enough time, I am planning to give him a gift on his birthday this August that he will surely appreciate . I still don’t know exactly what gift to give and luckily I came across a website that offers famous cigars.

My father’s job is really very hard so I hope giving him one of those premium cigars might help him at least feel rewarded for all the hard work that he has given just to make sure that there’ll be food on our plates.

An Early Birthday Gift

By on March 25, 2012

I will be celebrating my 20th birthday on March 27! And as my Birthday Countdown widget confirms, two days from now, I will turn 20. Yay!

Birthday Countdown Widget 🙂

I have always been excited for my birthday though I don’t actually hold parties or any kind of  “celebration”. I would love to but if there’s none, it’s fine with me. What excites me the most are the greetings from people especially from those whom I never expected to know my special day. I also love receiving gifts and surprises but as I have said, I don’t look forward to those much because I know that the people around me have more important things to prioritize than my birthday. So yeah, I am very excited deep inside but I try my very best not to show it because man, I am turning 20! Birthdays parties are for seven year olds only. Hahaha. Just kidding. Of course everyone deserves a birthday party whichever way they want.

Speaking of gifts, I can say that I am lucky this year for having a friend like Mahj (yeah the one who gave me an extra THG ticket, she’s so nice). Because just as we are taking photos of each other during the The Hunger Games screening, she gave me an early birthday gift! As usual, I almost cried over it but managed just to smile from ear-to-ear as she took out a pair of cellphone charms with owl designs and gave it to me!

I just love owl stuff. They make me joyful.

“Oh, regalo ko sa’yo!” she mentioned. Of course I knew it. If it has owls then it’s mine. I don’t know why but she never really bothered wrapping gifts that’s why the sense of surprise lasted for milliseconds only but the gratitude will stay forever.

Thanks Mahj!

Happy Birthday, Taylor Swift!

By on December 13, 2011

Because Taylor Swift is such an inspiring person, she captures the heart of people from all ages. Even my nine year old sister is fascinated by her and on Taylor’s 22nd birthday which is today, my little sister asked me to take a video of her greeting her idol. She even took a bath before I shoot the video of her greeting Taylor and here it is:

Happy Birthday Taylor Swift! Dec. 13, 2011

She still struggles in speaking in English but she tried her best.
We really, really  wish that Taylor could watch this and make a simple reply. Just so we know, that she had witnessed my little sister’s love for her. 🙂
